Love the blue tooth phone capability…I was able to just tap the number and talk to the “Garmin” much easier than trying to dial the number while driving…Also love the traffic alerts and and the MSN for gas prices. Only draw back was my cousins house built almost 3 years ago still was listed as “off road” even with new 2010 Map.

I wish I could say this was the perfect traffic travel companion, but sadly it is not. The traffic receiver is actually a very bulky component of the charger cable. This means it has to be plugged in in order to receive traffic updates…cumbersome, very cumbersome. The other problem is that I was hoping to be able to use this as a means to pick the best route to work in the morning, but instead it is more of a reactive traffic navigator. Stuck in bad traffic? This might be able to help. That said, the device with it’s large traffic receiver cable is just too much clutter and too slow to be helpful for what I needed. For now I’ll stick to Google maps traffic.

For any others upgrading, I’ve had a Garmin c340 for several years now and was somewhat shocked at the lack of advancement in the nuvi 265…I expected this to be more of an upgrade.
